Dear Ms. Elena Rivera MacGregor and the team at Rivera Design Group Limited,

I want to congratulate you on the emblem you have created for the 21st Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. The emblem has been met with a couple negative impressions by some of my colleagues, but they fail to recognize the importance and symbolization. I appreciate how soft and simple it is which reminds me of Vancouver and its dedication to nature and the environment. The multicoloured figure is also a testament to the multicultural atmosphere of Vancouver and the entire nation of Canada, and also represents the many regions of Canada's vast and great land. It is also the first time we have seen a Canadian Olympic emblem which gives homage to the First Nations people, without whom the knowledge and stories of the land in Canada would not exist today.

I personally love the emblem very much, and for those who may not see it my way, it can only get better.

For me, it's already the best. :)

Thank you for your work and thank you for showing your shining talent to the world.
