The Hispanic Business Association in Toronto has recognized Elena Rivera MacGregor with this prestigious award for her award-wining design work which includes the winning logo for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Candidates for the award are selected from every corner of the country and selected by a jury of journalists, media partners and past recipients of the award. Recognitions were awarded by the Ambassador for the Organization of American States, his Excellency Allan Culham.

Nov 2007 — DesignFest International is an international design conference held in Guadalajara, Mexico, organized by REDiseño, a global design network magazine.
Elena Rivera MacGregor has been invited as one of 16 international well-known designers from the UK, USA, Spain, Canada and Mexico. She will deliver a keynote speech and present an Olympic branding workshop. The conference will be attended by over 1,000 students and professional designers from Mexico and Latin America.
